February 09, 2026 | Pasay City: Following Feed the Hungry, Inc.’s (FtH) groundbreaking ceremony of an eight-classroom school building in Naic, Cavite, last February 6th, FtH Chairman of the Board, Mr. Larry Pacis, and Board Member, Ms. Milagros Nazal, paid a courtesy visit to Sec. Dante “Klink” Ang II of the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO). The visit, which elaborated on different community-driven programs of FtH in the country, explored further integrating CFO’s support in the various initiatives of the FtH.

CFO Chairperson Ang warmly welcomed partners from Feed the Hungry and spearheaded the discussion on the organization’s contributions, spanning decades of partnership between CFO and FtH. Today, with more than 30 years of collaboration, FtH, through CFO’s Lingkod sa Kapwa Pilipino (LINKAPIL) Program, has conducted multi-sectoral initiatives in different areas of the country–from feeding programs, educational assistance, relief in times of calamities, infrastructure projects, such as classrooms and water systems, scholarships, and livelihood programs.
During the visit, the CFO also highlighted the huge impact of the Filipino diaspora on local progress, exemplifying how overseas Filipinos, despite distance from home, impact national development. Furthermore, the CFO also emphasized how necessary it is for overseas Filipino organizations like FtH in providing data from their contributions, with a total LINKAPIL donations of Php 3.4 billion worth from 1990 to 2024.
In the end, the Commission has renewed its commitment to Feed the Hungry in assisting them towards its needs in reaching more Filipinos, ensuring that CFO offers a home to overseas Filipinos like them.
